Being a girl I am always a little scared to get my car fixed for fear of being ripped off and taken advantage of, but they gave great customer service, were honest and fair and my car is like new! They are awesome and I recommend you use them!

I have had two experiences with The Transmission Man. The first was OK, but not great. They rebuilt a transmission for my Dodge Caravan. The transmission worked OK, but the supposedly replaced torque converter wouldn't lock up. They insisted it did, but it didn't. Not a big deal, but it wasted gas. The second time I used The Transmission Man was a really bad experience. This was for a work vehicle (a Toyota) They gave me a quote and took apart the transmission. Once it was taken apart they "discovered" more problems and upped the price to over DOUBLE the original quoted price. The guy with the red hair got really nasty when I wasn't happy about that.

I'm rarely impressed by ANY kind of service nowadays, but these guys are deserving of the word "Impressive." They were professional, informative, patient and courteous. Their work was skillfully executed, thorough and more-than-reasonably priced. They made me aware of some additional work that would be prudent to complete while other issues were being addressed, but there wasn't a hint of manipulation or "hard sell." I come away from my experience fully convinced that these professionals REALLY CARE about the customers they serve and the work they perform (which, I discovered, encompasses far more than simply transmission work). I took my car into them when my automatic transmission would not start out in first gear. I thought for sure my Transmission was gone and that I would be replacing it. After 1 hour of diagnosing my car, they told me it was only something very minor. They ordered the part for me for far less than what I found it for online and they made the repair.I appreciated their honesty and they saved me hundreds or thousands of dollars not having to replace the transmission which I was fully prepared to do. I Recommend everyone I know.
